The family-owned Swiss company has been selling Swissflex eyewear — the modular, customizable frame system with optimal wearer comfort — for more than 20 years and is now available in over 50 countries. Its core business is in glasses for customers of all ages and for a wide range of activities.

In April 2020, Markus Caviezel began receiving inquiries for protective face and eyewear with the wearing comfort Swissflex customers trust. The inquirers claimed that the face shields currently available on the market were very uncomfortable when worn all day and often left painful pressure points and irritated skin.

As a passionate product developer, Caviezel designed, developed, and tested a modular protective face and eyewear product with the wearing comfort Swissflex customers trust. Caviezel did this in cooperation with Swissflex’s established network.

The protective Swissflex face and eyewear has been on the market since the end of May 2020.
